An Invitation:
Light of Torah | Holy Land Tour 2012
19 days of formative and inspirational experiences in the Holy Land, exploring the biblical text ‘in context’: the Land, the People, the Book.
Walking in the steps of Jesus we become aware of his Jewish identity and the traditions that formed him. We touch the sacramentality of the Land and taste the Scriptures as living texts. We listen to the stories of this unique place on earth, its peoples and their struggles.
Over two years 24 active leaders in various ministries in Broken Bay Diocese and its parishes have helped to trail-blaze this unique tour package. While the tour is open to people beyond Broken Bay, we wish to encourage the existing momentum within our Diocese, hence this invitation to consider joining the 2012 Light of Torah Tour departing Sydney 26 April, returning 14 May. From $6690.
