The aims of the Family Group Movement are for people to get to know other members of the Parish, to support each other in times of joy and sorrow, to build the Christian Community as in the early Church, and to involve our children in our Christian sharing, directly or indirectly by our example.
Three groups are already functioning in the parish with a total membership of about 75, ranging from the very young to the senior.
Our aim is to have monthly social gatherings of each of the groups, with an annual combined groups’ Christmas function. We try to vary our functions so that there is interest for everyone and we have shared some great times together.
The groups are open to all - families, singles, couples, old or young.
