With the conversion of the former presbytery into the Administration Centre, the triple garage became obsolete and, due to some innovative design and construction, it was converted into a meeting room with café style facilities and designated the ‘Jordan Room’ after John Baptist Jordan who founded the order of the Society of the Divine Saviour whose priests serve our parish.
This conversion has proved to be very successful since the facility is fully utilised by a diverse range of parish groups for meetings, education programmes, social gatherings and the like, as well as by families who can hire the venue to hold post funeral or baptism functions and by outside groups for community programmes.
