Along the outside wall of the church, immediately behind the sanctuary, a memorial wall and garden has been constructed.
The wall comprises a large number of niches into which the ashes of deceased loved ones may be placed and covered with a memorial plaque.
The garden has provided a place for rest and prayer which has recently been enhanced by the placing of a statue of Blessed Mary MacKillop, Australia's first saint, sculpted by parishioner Joe Vella-Critien.
The statue was donated in remembrance of Ann & Frank McGuinness.
Shrubs may also be planted in the garden and dedicated to the memory of a deceased child.
