Baptism is the first and most essential sacrament in the life of the Christian. Baptism invites the new Christian into the life of God and makes him or her a sharer in the divine life of Christ. Baptism cleanses us from Original Sin.
Baptisms are scheduled at Gosford Parish on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays.
Education in the meaning and purpose of this Sacrament is most important for parents who are expected to attend one of our Pre-Baptismal Courses prior to Baptism, and Godparents are cordially invited as well. These are held on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10.00am to 12 noon.
