Who will work if you don’t?
A Level 2 Certificate course for Catechists is being offered by the Diocese at the Meeting Room, Holy Name Wahroonga Church, 35 Billyard Avenue, Wahroonga beginning Monday June, 4 from 9.30am – 2.30pm. The course is open to parishioners, parish ministry groups and friends as well as catechists.
Topics will include: Catechists spirituality, Vatican II and renewal of the church, The Old Testament, History of Liturgy, Catholic Social Teaching, Interfaith Dialogue and Ecumenism.

| 8/06/2012 | Fund raising for Philippines Immersion Experience | A number of boys from St Aloysius College, Milsons Point are embarking on an Immersion to the Philippines to build a number of houses in rural areas and teach at the schools and orphanages around the country. For this they are raising money through a movie night to purchase many resources for the job.
This weekend Mark Jeyaraj, a parishioner and a student at St Aloysius will speak at the Masses to inform you of this fund-raising venture. Please support this cause if possible.
Any donations towards the cause would be greatly appreciated no matter how large or small.
Where: Hayden Orpheum Cinema, Cremorne.
When: 8th June, 6pm arrival (for refreshments) for 6:30 screening of movie.

| 31/07/2012 | Corpus Christi School - Open Day | Our first Open Day at for 2012 will be held on Friday 30th March. We are inviting families who have a child to enrol in Kindergarten 2013 to come along and see first hand what a wonderful school we have. Children who turn 5 before 31st July are eligible to enrol in Kindergarten in 2013. We do have vacancies in some other years groups also.
On our Open Day we are planning to have the new infant’s classrooms open to walk through. These newly refurbished classrooms are bright, airy and flooded in natural light. They are designed to allow flexibility, movement and space needed in a modern learning environment. The school community is very grateful to the Catholic Schools Office for funding this significant improvement to our school.
Come along and see first hand the quality teaching and learning that happens at Corpus Christi.
