The Diocese of Broken Bay officially endorsed the establishment of the Broken Bay Korean Community at Our lady of the Rosary Parish at Waitara on December 1st 2002. Fr Phillip (Seaung Jin) Chun was appointed as the Korean Chaplain and the first Mass in Korean was celebrated on December 15th, 2002.
The present Korean Chaplain is Fr Sung Jae Hwang
