| The attractive little township of Wyong lies on the Pacific Highway between Gosford and Lake Macquarie. One of the older settlements on the Central Coast, the Parish of Wyong is the second oldest on the Central Coast having been formed in 1914 from Gosford. Originally stretching north to Lake Macquarie today it comprises in addition to the town of Wyong the growing community of Tumbi Umbi.
The community of Tumbi Umbi lies on the southern shores of the Tuggerah Lakes. In recent years in common with many Central Coast communities it has seen significant population growth. As a result a school and station church were opened there in the 1990's.
