On Monday, the very enthusiastic students and staff of Maria Regina made their way down to Avalon Beach to film our Generation One Hands Across Australia Competition entry. After being rained out last Friday, we awoke to a glorious sunny day and we couldn’t wait to get started. Brett our film man was ready and so were we! We danced, sang and rapped about Aboriginal disparity and making a difference in our community. Some classes were even luckier enough to have quick play in the sand before returning to school for a whole school photo. We looked great in our hand painted t-shirts and tattoos and more importantly we had a fantastic day.
