Year 3 and Year 4 were lucky enough to visit the Sculptures by the Sea exhibition in Bondi in Week 5. During our walk from Bondi to Tamarama, we looked at over 100 different artworks from both Australia and overseas artists. Mrs Penning was fantastic at pointing out where the sculptures had come from and the different techniques and materials the artists had used. After viewing the sculptures we participated in workshops run by artists Linda Bowden and Sarah Joan Harvie. Year 4 made some fantastic sculptures out of clay and Year 3 worked with skewers and styrofoam to create their masterpieces!
