The club is formed primarily from the students attending Our Lady Help of Christians (OLHC) Catholic Primary School in Epping, New South Wales. Whilst we are primarily a school based club player registration is open to all primary school children in the Epping area. We find this allows the friendships developed in pre-school or neighbourhood friends to grow through primary school. We regularly have players from Epping Public and North Epping Primary join our club.
As well by being part of the OLHC teams the children enjoy the companionship of the school friends outside of the classroom and have fun at the same time.
At OLHC the children participate under the school’s name in Netball. Participation is not compulsory.
Also being part of the club allows many of the parents to meet with other school parents regularly, an opportunity that they may not otherwise have. Netball is organised and managed by the parents and friends of the school.
During the summer months the children participate in many different sports in the Epping area such as Cricket, T-Ball, Baseball, Tennis, Swimming. Typically, you will find several OLHC students participating in these teams.
