Classrooms
Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Primary School has excellent, modern building facilities. The school building contains seven classrooms, tuckshop, library, internal and external toilets, office area, staffroom, and storage areas. Every classroom is well resourced with a wet area, as well as a minimum of three computers enabling an effective teaching and learning environment. The school has the opportunity to use the Parish Hall and also a space allocated to Before and After School Care. The school is fortunate to be situated on the same site as Our Lady Help of Christians Church enabling a close link between the school and the Parish community.
Library
The library is a large attractive and busy place, centrally located for easy access. Students can visit before school and during their lunchtime to borrow books, read, research, play games and use the modern computer system.
Playground
Students at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Primary School can access a number of play areas at morning tea and lunch. The whole playground provides a large creative space for the students’ enjoyment and recreational needs.
The playground includes a basketball court, play equipment and painted surfaces for games that the children can access.
Parish Hall
Students, staff, parents and parishioners have access to the Parish Hall and bookings can be made via the Parish Office. The Parish Hall is used for full school assemblies, visiting performances, music tuition, staff professional development, and community celebrations such as Year 6 Graduation, and school discos.
