Here at Our Lady of Dolours we have a vibrant community of teachers, admin staff, students, parents, grandparents and carers who are all very supportive of the school and each other.
We have a very active Parents and Friends Association, who diligently fund raise every year to help enhance vital resources for our students.
For many families the journey of friendship begins in Kindergarten and continues as their children move through to high school years and beyond.
The lifelong commitment to their child’s education also becomes a rewarding and amazing part of their lives.
Many enrolling students have parents and grandparents who are ex-students of our school.
We enjoy a wonderful relationship with both high schools near us – Mercy College across the road – many of our girls move to Mercy in Year 7, and also St Pius X College next door.
We are also very fortunate to be so close to the beautiful Church of Our Lady of Dolours - right next door, and accessible to staff and students at any time.
The parish Priest, Fr Paul Finucane, and his assistant priests and staff are always welcome at our school for morning tea or lunch or for visiting the children in the classroom or in the playground.
