Who can enrol in a Catholic School?
Families seeking to enrol a student at Our Lady of Dolours are welcome to apply:
Catholic Systemic Schools in the Diocese of Broken Bay have religious, educational and social purposes.
The religious purpose means that the life and message of Jesus Christ is central to the educational endeavour of the school.
The educational purpose requires the school to provide quality, holistic education for all its students.
The social purpose of Catholic schools is to develop in students the ability to contribute to social harmony and the well-being of the wider community.
Priority in enrolment will be given to:
-
Children of Catholic families living in Chatswood
-
Children of Catholic families living in other suburbs
-
Children whose families of other Christian traditions are known and involved members of their worshipping community and who express an understanding of and commitment to the educational and religious life of the school
