The Year Five students recently spent three action packed days at Challenge Ranch in Somersby. While there, students and teachers were challenged to push their boundaries and attempt tasks that required team work, bravery and problem solving. Students learnt how effective communication can help when working in groups and that success is achieved when all people contribute equally. The students had a fantastic time developing these skills through abseiling down walls, soaring above the tree tops on the flying fox, building rafts to sail across the dam and attempting the low ropes course. The teachers and Fr Jim also thoroughly enjoyed participating in these activities and they were very proud of the students and their efforts. A special thank you to Mrs Crowe, who shared her musical skills with us and Fr Jim, for his reflective liturgy.
