Human Society and Its Environment is the key learning area in which students develop knowledge, understandings, skills, and values and attitudes about people and their social and physical environments. At OLOR we provide learning experiences that encourage the students to develop their knowledge and understandings about their world, its history, its geography and its people.
The outcomes and content of our Human Society and Its Environment programs are organised into the following four strands:

Our aim in HSIE is to assist students to empathise with others and understand and evaluate the nature of the society to which they belong.
