Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School is a relatively new school facility. It was built in 1991. The school's unique design of stone blends beautifully with our native garden surroundings. Tiled walkways lead to the main school building and school reception area.
The classrooms, school offices and library are all located in the same two storey building, and are built around a centralised school hall with walls of windows. Our two larger Kinder classrooms are located right next to the main building and are connected by a covered area and a covered walkway that also leads to the school canteen and the parish church, which is built of the same stone.
Staircases lead downstairs to the undercroft, grassy playground area and the oval, while many of the classrooms face out into a courtyard that is also used as the infant playground. Child safe fences have been strategically erected around the school buildings and Kinder classrooms to help ensure the safety of all children.
Our library is a warm, bright and comfortable place where reading is encouraged by our dedicated teacher librarian, helpers and the very design and display of books.
The parish hall is designed to be multi-functional and is in regular use by classes and other specialist groups. It is centrally placed, with the classrooms around it.
The floor is marked for games of basketball, tennis and indoor soccer and the walls hold 6 (child height) basketball hoops.
At one end of the hall is a stage with side wings, which is used for grade assemblies.
