Enrolment procedures for Our Lady of the Rosary School
We enrol families from two parishes and the procedure from each parish is as follows:
Families from Normanhurst Parish
· Make an appointment at Normanhurst Parish Office to have an interview with Fr Vaughan.
· Complete your Priest’s reference form and take it to the interview with Fr Vaughan.
· Return completed Enrolment Application to the school office. We will phone you for an interview with Mrs Jacinta Crowe, the Principal when we have received your completed Parish Priest Reference Form from Fr Vaughan.
· You will need to bring your child to this interview with the Principal. This is an opportunity for you to discuss the needs of your child and to learn more about our school.
Families from Waitara Parish
· Complete the Parish Priest Reference Form and bring it with you to the "Young Families and the Parish" workshop. The dates for the workshop are:
Monday 16 May - 9.30-10.30am OLOR Cathedral
Tuesday 24 May - 7.30-8.30pm Queen of Peace Church Normanhurst
Fr Jim will only receive and sign this reference form at these workshops.

Families from other parishes
· Make an appointment to see your Parish Priest and arrange for the Confidential Reference Form to be completed by him.
· Arrange for the Reference Form to be forwarded to the OLOR school office.
· Return completed Enrolment Application to the school office. We will phone you for an interview with Mrs Jacinta Crowe, the Principal, when we have received your completed Parish Priest Reference Form from Fr McKeon.
· You will need to bring your child to this interview with the Principal. This is an opportunity for you to discuss the needs of your child and to learn more about our school.
Enrolment Application Fee
There is a $50 non-refundable enrolment application fee which is payable at the time of the enrolment interview with the Principal, Mrs Crowe. This is to cover the administrative costs associated with your application.
For each child starting Kindergarten in your family the enrolment procedures outlined above will apply.
· Originals of your child’s birth certificate, immunisation record, baptismal certificate are to be sighted when enrolment forms are returned to the School Office (and any other sacramental certificates for children in Yrs 2-6)
