St Agatha’s is a Catholic Primary School which provides a high quality learning environment for girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 6. It is located in the Hills District on the western border of the Broken Bay Diocese. The children
are enrolled from geographical areas including Beecroft, Pennant Hills, West Pennant Hills, Thornleigh, Cherrybrook, Dural, Westleigh and Castle Hill.
The school has a powerful tradition of community and a strong commitment to supporting the development of Catholic
values in the children. Our foundations are embedded in the charism and rich heritage of the Good Samaritan Order and
we, too, are guided by their motto ‘In all things may God be glorified.’ Through liturgy and prayer opportunities children
are taught Catholic rituals and traditions to enrich their faith. The religious education curriculum supports this by providing strategies to develop knowledge and understandings of their faith.
St Agatha’s provides an innovative curriculum which challenges and inspires the children to know, think and value. It is
guided by our target to develop learners who can succeed in a future world that is difficult to predict.
Our greatest assets at St Agatha’s are the friendly, enthusiastic children, and the caring educators who consistently meet the learning needs of the diverse population of learners we have in our school.
