St Cecilia’s is a Catholic School in the Diocese of Broken Bay. Our school is an integral part of the Wyong Parish. Catholic beliefs, values and traditions are taught in a formal religious education program and are the guide for all we do throughout the school.
The purpose of the Catholic Schools in the Diocese is expressed in the Diocesan Mission Statement:
Catholic Schools in the Broken Bay Diocese exist to educate and form young people in Catholic discipleship: offering them experiences of following Jesus as members of a Catholic Community.
Parish programs
The Parish sets the timetable for the three sacramental programs each year and invites each family to respond to the programs offered on behalf of each child. The school's Religious Education Program supports the Sacramental Program through units of work taught at various grade levels.
General Information for the Sacraments
The Parent information night is compulsory for all parents (children are not required to attend). Enrolment forms will be distributed at this night only.
Presentation of Children: Parents are to present their child (children) to the parish community, together with their enrolment form and payment, at any Mass the following weekend. ENROLMENT FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT ANY OTHER TIME.
Lessons will be held on Saturdays (Wyong) & Sundays (Tumbi) prior to evening Masses. Children are expected to attend Mass. There will be no home lessons available. Rehearsals for all Sacraments will be held the weekend prior to the administration of the Sacrament.

The youth group is designed for years 6 - 8. It is a group where they can socialise, play games and pray. We not only meet once a fortnight, on a Sunday, but also on outings, attend workshops and join Parish functions. We love to see new faces as anyone is welcome to drop by to see what we are about. We are always after new leaders from years 10 - 12 and parent helpers.
