St Cecilia’s Catholic Primary School community strives to live out the vision and mission statements in daily life. Members of the school community are invited to become fully involved in all aspects of school life.
Parents are acknowledged as the primary educators of their children and are invited to enter into meaningful partnerships with the school and wider parish community. Both the Principal and the Religious Education Co-ordinator use the weekly newsletter to communicate with parents about various aspects of Catholic life and mission, your child’s education and events taking place within the school.
The Parents and Friends’ Association is the primary parent body within the school community. The Parents and Friends meet each term. Our Parents and Friends Association is highly effective and makes a significant financial contribution each year to the school. Funds raised are used specifically to update and expand the school’s resources to enhance the children’s learning.
The Parents and Friends Association also has roles in areas such as social event organisation, educational support and welcoming new families within the school.
