St Cecilia’s Catholic Primary School, Wyong is a systemic Catholic Primary School within the Diocese of Broken Bay under the leadership of Bishop David Walker. The school population is drawn from the surrounding suburbs of Wyong, Kangy Angy, Palmdale, Tuggerah, Mardi, Yarramalong, Watanobbi, Tacoma, Tuggerawong, Wyongah, Waldalba and south to Chittaway Bay.
The school belongs to the parish of St Cecilia’s, Wyong and is proud to have St Cecilia as its patron. St Cecilia is the patron saint of music and Church music because as she was dying she sang to God. Her feast day is celebrated on November 22. She is one of seven women, excluding the Blessed Virgin, commemorated by name in the Canon of the Mass. We are inspired by St Cecilia’s gifts and strengths and through our school motto, “Let Your Light Shine”, we strive to live the faith through our daily actions as a loving, caring and welcoming Catholic community.
The school is committed, in partnership with parents, to provide a quality learning environment where spiritual development and individual growth of each student is valued and nurtured.
