Our school has a new canteen fully equipped to provide lunch and snacks for the children. It is also used to cater for social events, both school and parish.
Parents run the canteen and a supervisor is employed part time to assist with the provision of a healthy menu choice for the children.
St Gerards’ tuckshop provides a lunch order service on both Mondays and Thursdays, selling a selection of hot food, sandwiches and salads etc.
The canteen is open every day at lunchtime for the sale of drinks, ice-blocks and snacks and at recess on Mondays and Thursdays. We aim to provide children with healthy food choices in accordance with the NSW Healthy School Canteen guidelines.
If your child wishes to place a lunch order on a Monday or Thursday he/she needs to provide a brown paper bag with money enclosed and the following information provided:

If a drink is ordered, please provide a second paper bag with the child’s name / class / drink ordered written on it.
A second bag is also required when ordering a “meal deal”.
Please do not staple or tape the paper bag shut.
The lunch order is to be handed in to the teacher first thing Monday/Thursday morning.
