Classrooms
St Gerard’s is fortunate to have 14 new classrooms (last rooms to be completed by 2010). All classrooms are air conditioned and support a range of technology. Five rooms will have interactive white boards. Students have access to desktop computers, laptops and digital cameras. 







Library
The Library is a large, modern space with a withdrawal room containing a bank of computers for specialised work situations. The librarian works with all classes over three days and the Library is a popular learning space during the lunchtime periods when children can browse, borrow or read with friends. 








Playground
Spacious grounds are enjoyed by the children and a separate play area exists for the Kindergarten, Year one and Year two students. There are two cricket nets for children to use on a roster system. Primary children have the choice of playing in a large shaded area, hard top area with handball courts or grass. The large oval at the back of the school is available to the children on a roster basis at lunchtime.
