A public speaking course is offered to senior students (Years 5&6) after school for one term. Students learn the art and skills of public speaking. This benefits the participants in many ways, notably, increased confidence when not only speaking in public but in their general poise and presentation.
Each year, Year 6 students compete at school to be selected to represent our school at the Peninsula Community of Catholic Schools Public Speaking competition during Term 3. From here, 4 students are selected to represent the Peninsula cluster at the Diocesan Public speaking competition.
