Students participate in Catholic rites and practices

Religious Education
Religious Education is studied at the College from Years 7 to 12. In the Senior years, students may opt to study either the Board of Studies HSC course or school-based Religious Education.

Catholic Rites and Practices
From among our seniors students are drawn those who wish to minister to the College community as ministers of the Eucharist.

Social Justice
The Social Justice Senior Council which is supported by the Social Justice SRC representatives from each year along with the Edmund Rice Social Justice group enable the students to be active in the area of social justice.

Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry Coordinator at the College provides part of the link between activities in the College and the life of various parishes.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
The St. Vincent de Paul society is active at St. Leo's College. Senior students raise money and awareness through fundraising campaigns as well as activities that reach out in support of the community.

Students and teachers from the College regularly participate on the roster for Night Patrol, a St. Vincent de Paul program which reaches out to homeless people in the city of Sydney. On Friday nights, participants in Night Patrol offer food, drink, blankets and friendship to homeless people in our own city.

Night Patrol
Year 11 students, together with teachers, take part in this activity on a monthly basis. Night Patrol offers practical assistance to the homeless in the city of Sydney.
