Liturgical Life of the College
The Liturgical life of the College is enhanced by the ministry of our feeder parish priests and the facility of a beautiful College Chapel.
Student participation is high at the voluntary morning and lunchtime Masses. Twenty senior students are special Ministers of the Eucharist. Significant occasions in the life of the Church and the College are celebrated throughout the year.
Religious Education
Religious Education programs are that of the Broken Bay Diocese for Years 7 - 12. In the Senior years, students may opt to study either the Board of Studies, HSC Studies of Religion Course or the Diocesan, BOS Endorsed Course.
Catholic Rites and Practices
The Liturgical life of the College reflects the season of the Church’s calendar as well as the significant feast days. One of the most significant being the feast of St Leo the Great, a 5th Century scholar and Pope.
Ministries
Students are encouraged to participate in the areas of service both within the College and our wider Community. The Student Leadership Team heightens student’s awareness of those in need as well as various activities in the College. They lead the four ministry domains within the College and invite students to involve themselves in the Catholic Mission; Social Justice; Sport & Culture; and Environment ministries.
Activities of these Ministries include:Bible Study; Cultural evenings at the College; visiting local nursing homes; supporting St Vincent de Paul services such as the Winter Appeal, Christmas Hampers, Night Patrol etc; taking care of our environment…tree planting, clean-ups;
