Students participating in food drive

In our endevour to educate and form young people in Catholic discipleship we aim to provide students with a deep sense of community. Central to this is the belief that all creatures are created by God and for this reason we offer each person a high level of respect.

We seek to understand the circumstances in which other people live and in doing so learn more about both the differences and similarities of each person. We also seek to learn how we can build relationships and at times this means sharing the resources we have.

In learning to walk in the shoes of others we include:

  • simple relationships with our friends at school;
  • learning about the lives of people in our local community and supporting the work of the Catholic agency St Vincent de Paul. Students are able to volunteer for the special interest group Mini Vinnies and in doing so take a leadership role in educating and fundraising;
  • learning about the lives of people in other parts of our country;
  • learning about the lives of people outside of Australia and supporting these people through the Catholic agency, CARITAS
